Scary Future

Today the IT lab was not available so we made our main caption,"Overfishing." Ms Doray checked on what we were doing for the Exhibition, and said that we needed points inside the points, which the library teacher told us later. We made the caption out of magazine pages and I I thought that it looked pretty good.

In the afternoon, we watched a documentary called, "The 11th Hour." The documentary looked quite scary at first, and remained so for the whole part that we watched. I did not know that we humans are so thick that we totally ignore proven fact!!! It was also scary that global warming and climate change might inflict diseases, like cancer and asthma to little children.

The most haunting part was that we are at the point where we can make a difference, and if we do not, earth, our only planet that meets all our needs, might turn into it's sister planet, Venus.
I did not get the part when the people said that the thing that makes us human, is not human. I also have not yet realised how our population has so quickly increased! I look forward to learning more from the show...
